2026 CAEAA 29th State Conference

February 11 - 13, 2026

For 2026, CAEAA is moving beyond the traditional conference model and toward a collaborative, strategy-driven experience. We have engaged Frank Scarpaci of the Vianova Group, a nationally recognized facilitator who partners with associations, nonprofits, and government agencies to guide strategic planning and problem-solving. Frank will work directly with conference attendees to help develop a strategic plan for CAEAA and for K–12 Adult Education in California.

The conference will be structured around facilitated breakout groups, each focused on key challenges and opportunities facing adult education today. This work will rely heavily on the expertise, experience, and insight of administrators in the room. The goal is practical, actionable outcomes — not just discussion.

We are again excited to bring you the best Adult Ed administrator conference of the year. This year, we are adding a new administrator session to help cover areas that are unique to managing an Adult School – strategic budgeting, marketing your program, building strategic partnerships, and more. Also, this year’s conference will be more interactive. In the past, we have delivered valuable information to you. Now, in addition, we want to hear from you about those pain points for you and your school, and any ideas you have to address them. The information you share will help guide CAEAA’s planning and advocacy for the next few years.

Join Suzanne Murphy and Steve Curiel for a highly interactive professional development experience where you will learn through Adult Education-based scenarios that require a solution.
