Principal, Huntington Beach Adult School
Steve Curiel has over 20 years of Adult Education experience as a teacher and administrator. He has overseen all program areas in that time and is currently the Principal for Huntington Beach Adult School that serves 7000 students each year. He is active in a number of professional organizations and sits on the boards of California Council for Adult Education (CCAE), California Adult Education Administrators Association (CAEAA), and California Consortium for Independent Study (CCIS). In 2016, he was awarded the Administrator of the Year in Adult Education from the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region XVII. Currently, Steve serves as the CAEAA Vice President of Legislative Affairs.
