CCAE & CAEAA Join Forces to Advance Policy and Funding for Adult Education
As people who know and love K12 Adult Education, we know very well how adult education can transform lives. Through education, we can change the trajectory of the lives of individual students, which in turn can change the lives of their families and communities.
Our message—that K12 adult education is a critical part of healthy communities—is being heard and increasingly understood by our legislators. Our aim is to elect representatives who understand our local interests and promote policies that will have profound impacts on the opportunities and well-being of our California adult learners.
While we continue to make great strides in recruiting new adult education advocates and graduating our advocates into legislative change-makers who make K12 adult education a top priority, more work remains—locally, regionally, and statewide.
